Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Goal Getter ("we", "us") about your use of goalgetter.online and its features (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

Goal Getter helps you track habits, streaks, milestones, deadlines and numeric goals. The Service is currently free. We may add, change or remove features over time. If we ever introduce paid features, we'll tell you first, and you won't be charged for anything you haven't agreed to.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission.
  • Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • Tell us right away at support@goalgetter.online if you think someone else has accessed your account.

3. Your content

You own everything you put into Goal Getter: your goals, check-ins, notes and other entries ("your content"). You give us permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to run the Service for you; for example, to show your dashboard or send the reminders you turn on. You can export or delete your content at any time from Settings.

You're responsible for your content. Don't store information you aren't allowed to share, or highly sensitive information (such as passwords or government ID numbers) in goal titles or notes.

4. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • break the law or violate anyone else's rights;
  • try to access other people's accounts or data, or get around our security;
  • disrupt or overload the Service, or access it with automated tools in a way that harms it or other users;
  • use the Service to send spam, malware or other harmful content.

5. Reminders and emails

If you turn on reminders, we'll send push notifications to the devices you choose. You can turn them off at any time in Settings. We also send emails about your account, such as sign-up confirmation and password resets.

6. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the Service or other users at risk. We may also discontinue the Service; if we do, we'll try to give reasonable notice so you can export your data.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. That includes warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data will never be lost; keeping your own exports is a good idea. Goal Getter is a tracking tool, not professional advice. Talk to a qualified professional about health, fitness, financial or other goals where that matters.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Arkansas, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update this page and the "Last updated" date. If the changes are significant, we'll also let you know in the app or by email. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
